This is a remote role in Canada.

What You'll Do: 

• Work on infrastructure projects, including defining problems and coordinating with necessary teams to implement solutions effectively.
• Deploy applications to staging, and production environments as part of daily operations, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with the Product team to identify and resolve bugs and issues within the application.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application servers.
• Continuously enhance knowledge in defined areas, share insights with the team.
• Manage incident responses, perform risk assessments, and troubleshoot infrastructure and security network issues.
• Maintain and update documentation to reflect current infrastructure and operational processes.

Skills & Experience We're Excited About: 

• Advanced Linux Skills: Ability to manage and optimize Linux-based systems.
• Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of AWS and Azure services, including deployment, and management of cloud resources.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform to design, build, and manage infrastructure.
• Configuration Management and Automation: Experience with tools like Ansible to streamline system configuration and deployment.
• Application Server: Experience with Java-based application servers such as WildFly, Apache Tomcat.
• Database Management: Experienced in working with SQL-based databases.
• Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Loki for system monitoring and logging.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to solve complex technical problems.
