Senior Product Manager (North America -- East Coast)

Uptempo is looking for a Senior Product Manager – Analytics & Performance. In this role you will own the analytics product experience across our platform and drive the roadmap for performance-related features. You’ll work closely with engineering, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute on a vision that brings actionable insights to our enterprise customers. You’ll be the go-to expert for Tableau-based reporting while helping to consolidate legacy BI tools and introduce scalable analytics strategies.

What you’ll do:
Analytics Product Ownership
- Own the end-to-end product experience for analytics in Uptempo, including Tableau, GoodData, and Jaspersoft
- Lead the consolidation of analytics capabilities onto Tableau to create a unified, strategic reporting suite
- Design and conceptualize out-of-the-box dashboards and reports that deliver immediate value to customers
- Drive UX and data visualization best practices across all dashboards
- Collaborate daily with our remote analytics engineering team (Germany)
Performance Product Features
- Co-lead performance-related features with another PM, focusing on improving marketing performance tracking
- Collaborate with the Brazil-based development team on implementation
Product Management Core
- Drive customer discovery: conduct interviews, synthesize feedback, and translate insights into product ideas
- Write clear, thorough requirements and maintain a prioritized backlog
- Define product roadmaps aligned with business and customer goals
- Collaborate with UX/UI, engineering, and stakeholders to shape solutions and deliver with quality and speed
- Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success to drive adoption, awareness, and usage of new analytics features
- Track product performance with relevant KPIs and usage data
- Ensure documentation is clear and accessible by working with technical writing teams
Skills & experience we’re excited about:
Must-haves:
Technical Skills:
- 5–10 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on analytics or data products
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau (designing, building, and optimizing dashboards)
- Solid grasp of UX principles for data visualization and dashboard design
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams in SaaS and multi-tenant platforms
Product Management Skills:
- Proven ability to build and drive a product strategy that aligns with broader business goals
- Strong track record of translating customer needs into analytics solutions
- Experience running discovery processes and driving product lifecycle from ideation through delivery
- Data-driven mindset and ability to make decisions based on metrics and performance data
Soft Skills:
- Highly collaborative team player with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional cross-functional communication—comfortable translating technical topics for non-technical stakeholders
- Empathic, curious, open-minded—and you enjoy a good laugh with colleagues!
Nice-to-haves:
- SQL skills (query optimization, data extraction, joins, etc.)
- Exposure to ETL/Data Engineering (Python, dbt, Airflow)
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Experience with GoodData and Jaspersoft
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Productboard
- Familiarity with enterprise marketing, marketing performance metrics, or financial KPIs
- Background in B2B SaaS, MarTech, PE-backed or growth-stage companies (Salesforce, Adobe, HubSpot, etc.)
- Experience working with remote/distributed teams
Challenges you'll tackle:
- Aligning and unifying analytics strategies across multiple BI tools serving different use cases and personas
- Managing and prioritizing a high volume of incoming requests with limited team capacity
- Communicating progress and limitations transparently across the organization
- Collaborating across global teams in different time zones (EU & LATAM)
